As a nation with high standing in the world I have no idea why we would not filter what is popular in our country, but to that extent what is POPULAR will be popular no matter what regulations either the government or anyone puts upon such things. The thing about a certain trend being popular is that people think it is cool. There is rarely a case where standards and regulations apply to anyone thinking that if they do the popular thing they will be “in style”. For example, teenagers who do drugs: they don’t necessarily care whether they are illegal or against government regulation, they just DO IT. So, There becomes a point in time that we are unable TO regulate such things. I mean as a nation we should be worried about the international image of our country, but there is only so much that people can do to stop influential behavior.

Argumentative Writing?
Argumentative writing is the written opinion of someone who believes something that there is either an opposition to, or another side. It is the personal belief of someone spoken in hopes of changing another persons mind on the same subject. To have an argument there must first be two or more sides, therefore making contesting sides or at least the option for such. Argumentative writing is a biased opinion of someone that believes something different than that of someone else, and hopes to change the others mind.
